FAQ Friday: Tattoo Process

We get an abundance of people asking questions about the tattoo process. To make it more accessible, we would like to go over as much of it as we can here. If there is something that is missed about the process in this post, please leave a comment below and we will get an answer to you as soon as possible!

At Rebel Muse Tattoo, we would love the chance to meet you in-person by first
scheduling a consultation. This will give you an opportunity to check out the shop if you have not visited yet as well as meet your potential artist. Consultations usually run about 15 to 30 minutes long. In that time, you will be able to describe your tattoo concept more in depth as well as share any reference/inspiration photos that you have saved for your tattoo idea. Your artist will then go over their specific process including an estimated price, time frame on completing your tattoo, available dates, and their booking process.

If you are happy with everything you two discussed, you may move forward with securing a session date by paying a non-refundable deposit. This is not an extra fee as it will go towards the overall price of your tattoo. It is typically subtracted from the cost of your last tattoo session. Once the deposit has been paid, you are locked into their calendar. The next step would be seeing you at your tattoo appointment!
